The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had conducted the Indian Institutes of Technology Joint Entrance Examination (IIT JEE) Offline main exam on Sunday, April 2, and Online mode on April 8 & 9, 2017.
IIT JEE (Main) Exam 2017 online application process was starting from 01st December, 2016. The last date for online submission of application is 16th January, 2017 and fee can be paid upto 17th January 2017. The correction will start from 25th January to 3rd February 2017. The pattern followed this year was similar to the JEE main pattern from 2011 to 2016. Over 10 lakh candidates appeared for the exam which was conducted in the offline mode for entrance to BE, BTech, BArch and BPlanning courses. Only the top 2,20,000 candidates who clear the main exam will be shortlisted for the advanced paper who will have to compete for 11,032 seats in the IITs.
