CBSE Class 12th Result 2019


The Central Board of Secondary Education has announced the CBSE Result 2019 for Class 12 on 2nd May 2019 at their official website cbseresults.nic.in.

The total pass percentage for the country is 83.4%. The region with the highest pass percentage is hiruvananthapuram at 98.2%, followed by Chennai at 92.93% and Delhi at 91.87%. The percentage of students who passed in international schools is 95.43%.

Around 13 lakh students have passed CBSE Class 12 Result 2019. Hansika Shukla have scored 499 marks and have topped CBSE Class 12th Result 2019.

Joint toppers for the exam + are Hansika Shukla and Karishma Arora with 499 marks out of 500.

Girls, like in previous years, performed better than boys by 9%. Some 88.70% of girls passed, followed by transgenders at 83.3% and boys at 79.4%.

Kendriya Vidyayala Schools had a pass perentage of 98.54%, Tibetan schools were at 96%, government-aided schools were at 88.49% and private schools were the lowest of the lot at 82.59%.

The board had conducted the Secondary Examination (Class 10) and Higher Secondary Examination (Class 12) for the academic session year 2018-19 in February-March 2019.

Around 13 lakh students appeared for the Class 12 examination conducted by the CBSE. The results have been announced within 28 days of the last date of the examination.

This year, CBSE 12th Board exam 2019 was conducted in 4627 centres.

In 2018, Meghna Srivastava of Step by Step School, Noida, emerged as the national topper rank with 499 marks out of 500 while Anoushka Chandra from Ghaziabad secured the second position with 498 marks. Both toppers belonged to the humanities stream.

सेंट्रल बोर्ड ऑफ सेकेंडरी एजुकेशन (सीबीएसई) ने गुरुवार को 12 वीं की परीक्षा के परिणाम घोषित कर दिए हैं इसके साथ ही लाखों करोड़ों परीक्षार्थियों का इंतजार खत्म हो गया है। परीक्षा के परिणाम सीबीएसई बोर्ड के आधिकारिक वेबसाइट cbseresults.nic.in और cbse.nic.in पर जारी किए गए हैं।

साल 2019 के सीबीएसई रिजल्ट की बात करें तो इस बार कुल पास पर्सेंटेज 83.4 फीसदी रहा। इनमें सबसे ज्यादा पास फीसदी रिजल्ट केरल की राजधानी तिरुवनंतपुरम से सामने आया है। तिरुवनंतपुरम में 98.2 फीसदी रिजल्ट सामने आया है जो देशभर में सबसे ज्यादा पास फीसदी रिजल्ट है।

पहले नंबर पर तिरुवनंतपुरम का पास फीसदी रिजल्ट 98.2 रहा

दूसरे नंबर पर चेन्नई का पास फीसदी रिजल्ट 92.93 रहा

तीसरे नंबर पर दिल्ली है जहां कुल पास फीसदी रिजल्ट 91.87 रहा।

इंटरनेशनल स्कूल से जितने छात्र पास हुए हैं उनका कुल पास फीसदी रिजल्ट 95.43 फीसदी रहा। इस परीक्षा में दो छात्रों ने ज्वाइंट रुप से टॉप किया है। हंसिका शुक्ला और करिश्मा अरोड़ा दोनों ने 500 में से 499 नंबर लेकर आए हैं।

पिछले साल की ही तरह इस बार भी लड़कियों ने बाजी मार ली है। लड़कों के मुकाबले लड़कियों ने 9 फीसदी ज्यादा पास रिजल्ट आए हैं। 88.70 फीसदी लड़कियां पास हुई हैं जबकि 83.3 फीसदी ट्रांसजेंडर्स ने और 79.4 फीसदी लड़कों ने बादी मारी है। केंद्रीय विद्यालय स्कूलों में पास फीसदी रिजल्ट 98.54 फीसदी रहा। तिब्बती स्कूलों में कुल पास फीसदी रिजल्ट 96 फीसदी रहा। सरकारी सहायता प्राप्त स्कूलों में 88.49 फीसदी रिजल्ट आए हैं जबकि निजी स्कूलों के 82.59 फीसदी रिजल्ट आए हैं।

UP Board 10th & 12th Result 2019

उत्तर प्रदेश माध्यमिक शिक्षा परिषद (यूपी बोर्ड) 27 अप्रैल को यूपी बोर्ड की 2019 की परीक्षाओं का परिणाम घोषित कर दिया। बोर्ड दसवीं (UP Board High School Result 2019) और बारहवीं (UP Board Intermediate Result 2019) दोनों परीक्षाओं का परिणाम एक साथ घोषित कर दिया।

12वीं में 70.06% और 10वीं में 80.07% छात्र-छात्राओं को कामयाबी मिली। हाईस्कूल परीक्षा में कानपुर के गौतम रघुवंशी ने 97.17% अंकों के साथ टॉप किया। शिवम (97%) दूसरे और तनुजा विश्वकर्मा (96.83%) अंकों के साथ तीसरे स्थान पर रहीं। वहीं, इंटर परीक्षा में बागपत की तनु तोमर (97.80%) ने टॉप किया। भाग्यश्री उपाध्याय (95.20%) दूसरे और आकांक्षा शुक्ला को 94.80% अंकों के साथ तीसरा स्थान मिला।

इस साल बोर्ड परीक्षाओं के लिए कुल 58 लाख 06 हजार 922 परीक्षार्थियों ने रजिस्ट्रेशन कराया था। इनमें से 6 लाख 52 हजार 881 ने परीक्षा छोड़ दी थी। आज 51 लाख 54 हजार 41 छात्र-छात्राओं का परिणाम घोषित हुआ। हाईस्कूल में 11 लाख 63 हजार 735 छात्र और 11 लाख 9 हजार 569 छात्राएं पास हुईं। वहीं, इंटर में 16 लाख 47 हजार 919 छात्र पास हुए।

पिछले साल 10वीं, 12वीं परीक्षा के परिणाम 29 अप्रैल को घोषित हुए थे, पर इस बार बोर्ड 2 दिन पहले परीक्षाओं के परिणाम जारी कर रहा है. 2019 में यूपी बोर्ड दसवीं और बारहवीं कक्षा के 58.6 लाख छात्रों ने परीक्षा दी थी. 10वीं और 12वीं में किसी भी विषय में पास होने के लिए स्टूडेंट्स को न्यूनतम 35 फीसदी अंक लाने जरूरी हैं. अगर आपके अंक इससे कम हुए तो आपको पास होने के लिए कंपार्टमेंट परीक्षा देनी होगी. बता दें कि कंपार्टमेंट परीक्षा की तारीखों का ऐलान परिणाम घोषित होने के बाद किया जाता है. लेकिन अगर आपको लगता है कि आपको कम नंबर मिल हैं तो आप आंसरशीट की दोबारा जांच भी करवा सकते हैं. इसके लिए कुछ शुल्क का भुगतान करना होता है.

यूपी बोर्ड हाईस्कूल व इंटरमीडिएट की परीक्षा में 998250 परीक्षार्थी अनिवार्य विषय हिन्दी में ही फेल हो गए। हाईस्कूल में सर्वाधिक 574409 परीक्षार्थी हिन्दी में फेल हुए जबकि इंटरमीडिएट के 423841 परीक्षार्थी हिन्दी की परीक्षा पास नहीं कर सके। इंटरमीडिएट का उत्तीर्ण प्रतिशत कम होने की एक बड़ी वजह परीक्षार्थियों का हिन्दी में फेल होना भी रही। हाईस्कूल में हिन्दी और प्रारंभिक हिन्दी का पेपर होता है। हिन्दी में 574107, प्रारंभिक हिन्दी में 302 फेल हुए। वही इंटर हिन्दी में 193447 तथा सामान्य हिन्दी में 230394 परीक्षार्थी फेल हो गए।

हाईस्कूल में छात्रों को सबसे तगड़ा झटका गणित में लगा है। अंग्रेजी और विज्ञान में भी काफी परीक्षार्थी मात खा गए। सबसे खराब रिजल्ट गणित का है, जिसमें 26 फीसदी परीक्षार्थी फेल हो गए हैं, वहीं प्रारंभिक गणित में तो 50 फीसदी को ही सफलता मिल सकी। अंग्रेजी और विज्ञान में बीस फीसदी से अधिक परीक्षार्थी फेल हो गए। अंग्रेजी का उत्तीर्ण प्रतिशत 79.03 व विज्ञान का 79.78 फीसदी रहा। संस्कृत में 67.63 फीसदी परीक्षार्थी पास हो सके तो सामाजिक विज्ञान में 80.52, कम्प्यूटर में 87.79, वाणिज्य में 77.26, गृह विज्ञान में 94.46 तथा मानव विज्ञान में 81.62 फीसदी छात्र पास हो सके।

Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY)

The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is an on-going National Program of Fellowship in Basic Sciences, initiated and funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, to attract exceptionally highly motivated students for pursuing basic science courses and research career in science. The objective of the program is to identify students with talent and aptitude for research; help them realize their academic potential; encourage them to take up research careers in Science, and ensure the growth of the best scientific minds for research and development in the country.
The advertisement for the KVPY Fellowship appears in all the national dailies normally on the Technology Day (May 11) and the Second Sunday of July every year. Selection of the students is made from those studying in XI standard to 1st year of any undergraduate Program in Basic Sciences namely B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./M.S. in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology having aptitude for scientific research.
Special groups / Committees are set up at IISc to screen the applications and conduct an aptitude test at various centres in the country. Based on the performance in the aptitude test, short-listed students are called for an interview which is the final stage of the selection procedure. For receiving a fellowship, both aptitude test and interview marks are considered. Generous fellowships are provided up to the pre-Ph.D. level to the selected KVPY Fellows.

1. Engineering Entrance Exams after Class 12

  • JEE Main : JEE Main is National level entrance exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education after class XII for admission to Engineering programs at NITs, IIITs and centrally funded technical institutions like IIST, and is also the eligibility test for JEE Advanced. Earlier it was known as AIEEE.
  • JEE Advanced : JEE (Advanced) is conducted by the IITs and only candidates who qualify the JEE Mains are admissible to take the test. Admission to the qualifying students is granted to all undergraduate Engineering and other science programs offered at 16 IITs in India and ISM Dhanbad. There are two papers of 3 hours each. The question papers will be bilingual (in English and Hindi). Each of the question papers will consist of three separate sections on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • BITSAT : Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test is administered to Class XII students for admission to the engineering degree courses at the BITS campuses in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad. BITSAT is computer based online entrance exam for admission to BITS Pilani Engineering, Pharmacy, Information Systems and other courses. Notifications are out in the month of December and online tests are held in the month of May through June.
  • VITEEE Vellore Institute of Technology conducts the Engineering Entrance Test (VITEEE) for admission of students to its various B Tech Degree programs. Online applications are available from December and the test is held in March.
  • COMED-K : The Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (Comed-k), Bangalore, conducts an Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET). It is conducted to determine the merit of students seeking admissions to the undergraduate courses in the Member Institutions of the Karnataka Professional Colleges Foundation Trust (KPCF). There are more than 150 engineering colleges who make available almost 20,000 seats for admission.
  • Manipal MU OET : All India Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU-OET) is conducted for selecting students seeking admission in the Engineering course offered at Manipal Institute of Technology.

2. Architecture Entrance Tests after 12th

  • NATA : National Aptitude Test in an architecture entrance exam for admission to B Arch courses in India in Government and Government aided and un-aided colleges of Architecture. NATA can be given at any designated test centers, at least 6 working days prior to the cut-off date for applying in the preferred colleges. NATA applications forms are available in the month of March and one can take the exam on any working day from March to Aug.

3. Medical Entrance Tests after 12th Standard

  • National Eligibility-cum- Entrance Exam for Under Graduate (NEET- UG) : NEET –UG is an All India level single entrance- cum- eligibility test for admission in MBBS/BDS courses after class 12th science. It is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) that previously conducted all India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT).
  • AIIMS MBBS : Entrance Exam: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) conducts an entrance exam after Class XII at National Level for admission to MBBS seats in AIIMS New Delhi and to the other six new AIIMS like institutions. AIIMS conducts entrance exam for available number of seats in the MBBS course in Delhi and other AIIMS like institutions.
  • JIPMER MBBS Entrance Test This medical entrance exam is conducted by Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) for admission to MBBS course in its institute. There are a total of 150 seats for admission into the same. Duration of the course is 4 years and 6 months as per the academic calendar of JIPMER followed by 1 year of compulsory rotatory internship.
  • AIPVT : The All India Pre-Veterinary Test (AIPVT) is an entrance exam conducted after Class 12 for admission to five years B. Vsc and AH courses in India. The exam is held to fill up 15 per cent of total number of seats in Government Veterinary colleges except in the state of Jammu & Kashmir.
  • Indian Army BSc Nursing : Female Candidates (only) are eligibile for admission to 4 years B Sc. (Nursing) Course commencing at Colleges of Nursing of Armed Forces Medical Services. to be eligible , a candidate should have passed the 12th standard/equivalent examination, as a regular student in all the subjects i.e. PCB as elective subjects
  • IGNOU BSc Nursing Entrance Test: Provide opportunity to a large segment of in-service nurses to upgrade their knowledge and skills to respond to the changing health needs of the society. Eligibility requirements include In-service Nurses i.e. Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives (RNRM) having 10+2 with three years Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with a minimum of two years of experience (after registration as RNRM) in the profession.

4. Defence and Marine Competitive Exams after 12th Class

  • NDA Exam : An all India level entrance exam for those who wish to join any defence force and serve the nation. After qualifying the NDA and NA selected candidates can join Army, Air Force and Navy as per their passing percentage during the training period. Class 12th passouts are eligible for this exam.
  • Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test : An all India level entrance test for students seeking admission in Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS) after class 12th with science background. The selected candidates are offered a BSc. (Nautical Science) degree.
  • Indian Navy B.Tech Entry Scheme : This entrance test for class 12 students seeking admission in Indian Navy B.Tech course.
  • Indian Navy Sailors Recruitment : Another recruitment test for class 12 students with subjects Maths and Physics/Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science who get basic training at INS Chilka, followed by professional training.
  • Indian Army Technical Entry Scheme (TES): TES is conducted for those class 12th passout students who are from PCM background.

5. Common Entrance Tests for Engineering and other Courses

  • Karnataka CET : The state of Karnataka conducts a common entrance test for admission to Professional Educational Institutions in the State for the academic year for Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Unani through NEET UG and other Courses including Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Naturopathy, Yoga, Agriculture, Forestry, Sericulture, Agri Biotech, Horticulture, Home Science, Veterinary Science, Animal Husbandry and many other courses.
  • Kerala KEAM : The government of Kerala conducts a common entrance test, Kerala Engineering Agriculture Medical Entrance Examinations (KEAM), for admission to colleges in the state for admission to Medical, Agriculture, Veterinary, Fisheries, Engineering and Architecture Courses Admission.
  • EAMCET : Andhra Pradesh: In the state of Andhra Pradesh, EAMCET (Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test) is conducted for admission to Medical and Engineering courses in various state colleges . This entrance exam after 12th is conducted by JNTU every year for admission to Engineering, Medical and Agriculture Courses. 

6. Hotel Management Entrance Exams

  • NCHMCT JEE : The National council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint regulates B.Sc Hospitality and Hotel Administration and other courses of study at 21 central IHM, 14 state government IHM and 15 private IHM affiliated with NCHMCT. For admission to courses offered at these institutes the council conducts Joint Entrance Test (JEE).

7. Law Entrance Exams

  • CLAT The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is conducted for admission to undergraduate and post graduate programmes at 14 National Law Universities. Each year a university out of these 14 takes the responsibility of conducting the entrance test. In 2014 CLAT was conducted by GNLU, Gandhinagar.
    CLAT is for 2 hours and covers questions on English, General Knowledge/ current affairs Numerical ability, Legal Aptitude and Logical reasoning.
  • LSAT : The Law School Admission Test (LSAT) India is conducted for admission to Law programmes in participating colleges like Amity, UPES Dehradun, ITM Gurgaon, Faculty of Law Dehradun, RGSOIPL, for three year LLB at IIT Khargapur and others.
  • All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) : All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) is conducted for the selection of candidates seeking admission in B.A., LL.B. (Hons.)

8. Design Entrance Tests

  • NIFT entrance test: National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) conducts the entrance test for admission to its bachelors program. For B Design it takes GAT and CAT and Situation test. For admission to B.F Tech, students have to appear in GAT test.
  • NID : The National Institute of Design conducts Design Aptitude Test for admission to its UG programmes at all centres. The applications are closed in the month of November every year and the test is conducted in the month of January. The upper age limit for candidates is 20 years.
All India Entrance Examination for Design (AIEED) : All India Entrance Examination for Design (AIEED) is conducted for candidates who wish to take admission in 4 years undergraduate programmes in design after class 12th.

  • SSC CHSL Exam : The SSC exam is for those who want government jobs right after class 12th. If selected, one can join as lower division clerk in any of the various government ministries and departments, armed forces or railways.
  • CPT for Chartered Accountancy : The Common Proficiency Test (CPT) 2014 is conducted by the Council of the Institute Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) which will lead to a person becoming a Chartered Accountant. ICAI will hold three levels of examinations; CPT (Common Proficiency Test), IPCC which is the Intermediate (Integrated Professional Competence) course and the final and three years of practical training under a practicing Chartered Accountant.
  • TISS Bachelor Admission Test is the All India Level Entrance Exam for admission in BA in Social Sciences offered in Guwahati, Hyderabad & Tuljapur and BA Hons in Social Work with specialization in rural development offered only in TISS Tuljapur Campus . To be eligible Students should have passed 12th Class or Intermediate in any subject stream from a Recognized Board.
